Deborah Clauser

Deborah L. Clauser, 59, of Leavenworth, returned home on her birthday, Oct. 6 and passed away Wednesday morning Oct. 7, 2015. She was surrounded by her loved ones, after a two-year fight with pancreatic cancer. Her journey with illness was taken on with the characteristics Deborah was known for throughout her life; courage, selflessness, compassion for others and grace. She considered herself not a victim, but a loving family member who chose to never give in for all of those who loved her. She was born Oct. 6, 1956, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth “Betty” (Ross) Burge.
