James Michael Eidemiller

James Michael Eidemiller, 47, died of natural causes Thursday, July 20, 2017, in Springfield, Mo. James was born April 4, 1970, the son of Donald Roy and Sharon Kay (Alexander) Eidemiller.

At the age of six, James’ birth mother passed away as a result of complications from Lupus. James was a graduate of Olathe South High School in the class of 1988. Following graduation, James met and married the love of his life, Janean Ann (Wilson) Eidemiller. James and Janean lived briefly in Fayetteville, Ark., before moving to Springfield, Mo. While in Fayetteville, James adopted the Arkansas Razorbacks as his team and could always be recognized in his University of Arkansas hat. James also maintained his allegiance to the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.

During his marriage, James led a rough-in crew building homes and duplexes in Springfield. Following Janean’s death in an auto accident in 2006, James worked for Engineered Packing Company in Springfield.

James is survived by his father and step-mother, Don and Sandra Eidemiller; his brother, Jeffrey (Diane) Dale Eidemiller as well as his step-siblings. James is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Louisburg United Methodist Church, 249 N. Metcalf Rd., Louisburg, KS., with a private inurnment at Shawnee Mission Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers suggested charities include: Congenital Heart Defects Families Association P.O.
