Alford Endlsey Jr.

Alford Raymond Endsley Jr., 64, of Basehor, died,Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Medicalodge. He was born November 13, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Alfred and Rosalie (Albright) Endsley.

On Nov. 23, 1973, he married his loving wife of 45 years, Holly A. Passler in Craven County, N.C. She survives at the home. He is also survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Marvel and Patricia McCann both of Basehor, Kan.; two sons, Alford (Katie) Endsley III of Bonner Springs, Kan., and Andrew (Amanda) Endsley of Edwardsville, Kan.; four sisters, Patricia (Joel) Weiner, Linda “Katie” (Gilbert) Moore, Ruby Wyatt, Rebecca (Richard) Ariaga; four brothers, August “Gus” (Jane) Endsley, Richard (Teresa)Endlsley, Randy (Lisa) Endsley, and Albert Endsley; and ten grandchildren.

He served in the United States Marine Core from 1971-1977. He also worked at a sheet metal worker for the Local 2 where he retired in 2004.

Alford loved riding his Harleys. He always had more than one! He was a member of the Masonic Lodge where he was a Master Mason 32nd degree and served as worshipful Master in 1996.

A visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2019, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
