Edith’s passions were her faith, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a true farmer’s wife, keeping her husband and sons fed, gardening and canning and helping in any way she could. She loved KU basketball and telling her jokes to anyone who would listen. She cooked at Easton Grade School for over 10 years and was an excellent cook. Her love of God, family and spirit that she radiated with her beautiful smile will be greatly missed. Her favorite thing to do in these last years was to travel in their van through the country side and enjoy the place they called home for 68 years. She fought many illnesses these past 11 years. Her strength and perseverance for whatever she was given was done with courage and her faith sustained her and her family.

Edith served as Altar Society President, CCD Teacher, was a member of the church choir and served on the church council.

The family would like to acknowledge the special care givers who loved and supported her and Donald these past three years. Angela Rush PA, Encompass Home Health & Hospice System. St. Luke’s Home Health. A special gratitude to her daily caregiving staff, Candice Bruna LPN and Kelsey Tijerina LPN.
