Frank L. Rohrbach

Frank L. Rohrbach, 87, of Leavenworth, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Medicalodge of Leavenworth.

He was born Feb. 10, 1924, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Frank H. and Ida Myrtle (McCully) Rohrbach.

On Sept. 28, 1946, he married Georgia Kyle in Kansas City. She survives at the home. He is also survived by his daughter, Kyle Ann Darby of Weston, Mo.; two grandchildren, Clayton Roy Darby and Anna Beth Darby; a great-grandson, Aiden Lee Darby; and a brother, Donald K. Rohrbach.

Frank was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Leavenworth, the Delaware Lodge #96, Ararat Shrine of Kansas City, Mo. and a former member of York Rite Bodies and ROJ Court #54. He was very well known in the Kansas City area for his 41 year involvement in the automobile industry where he worked in sales, co-owned and owned dealerships.

The family will receive friends for visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church, Leavenworth. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Children’s Hospital % Ararat Shrine 5100 Ararat Drive, Kansas City, MO 64129-1998 or the First United Methodist Church. Arrangement entrusted to R.L.
