Robert F. Wineinger

Robert Ford Wineinger, 71, of Leavenworth, Kan., formerly of St. Joseph, Mo., died, Sunday, April 30, 2017, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1945, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Jack H. Wineinger Sr. and Margaret (Herring) Wineinger.

Bob graduated from Lafayette High School in 1964.

He leaves behind his wife, JoAnn; two daughters, Amy Aydogan and Michelle Ray; two sons, Bob Wineinger and Scott Wineinger; two brothers, Jack H. Wineinger Jr. and Richard L. Wineinger; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed watching Andy Griffith, Red Skeleton and other comedians on T.V. Bob’s idol was Barney Fife. He also enjoyed going to lunch every Thursday with three friends/co-workers.

A celebration of life will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the VFW (519 Cherokee) in Leavenworth.
